This 4-year program is being implemented with PMPML and will be extended to cover the metro lines as well. It should help not only in de-carbonization but also improve the air quality and reduce traffic congestion.

Interim Report: Behaviour Nudges For Sustainable Transportation
Objective
This program was designed to encourage citizens to adopt environmentally responsible commuting practices. The initiative focused on promoting a shift from private automobiles to greater use of public transportation- namely, the PMPML buses, leveraging behavioural insights to influence travel choices. By integrating citizen engagement with evidence-based approaches, the program has provided decision makers with actionable insights on improving the PMPML infrastructure to improve ridership.
