Program Name: Towards Greener Commute 
Vision: Measuring, enabling, and accelerating sustainable mobility choices into measurable, verified action.
Description: A sustainable mobility initiative managed by the Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC) in partnership with Adyra ESG Technologies. This programme builds upon Learning from PKC’s prior phase 1 project “Behavioural Nudges for Metro Rides”. The programme promotes eco-friendly modes of transport while extending sustainable mobility research and engagement to corporations and institutions. It offers a dual-track participation model, enabling organisations to engage through two distinct pathways:
Track A (CSR Sponsorship) focuses on community funding and employee engagement, while Track B (CSR + ESG Reporting) provides ISO 14064-3 verified employee commute emissions data and auditor-ready BRSR Core disclosure text – the Scope 3 Category 7 input that feeds directly into a listed company’s BRSR, SBTi, and TCFD reporting. Participants log their commutes via the AdyraEngage platform, allowing for independent verification of environmental outcomes.
By tracking employees’ commuting habits, the partnership generates auditor-ready data on carbon emissions and environmental impact. Ultimately, the programme aims to transform urban commuting into a measurable contribution toward corporate sustainability goals and national climate targets.

Objective:

  • Promote and track modal shifts toward walking, cycling, bus, metro, and carpooling.
  • Provide organisations with ISO 14064-3 verified Scope 3 Category 7 (employee commute) emission statements and auditor-ready BRSR Core disclosure text – a verified data input supporting SBTi and TCFD reporting.
  • Conduct walkability analysis and citizen research to improve local corridor infrastructure.
  • Deliver verified sustainability outputs that satisfy Schedule VII Clause (iv) CSR requirements while supporting SBTi and TCFD disclosure needs.
