Mission PMU for the ANRF MAHA-EV Mission Program

Overview:

The Mission for Advancement in High-Impact Areas (MAHA): EV-Mission, of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), is a strategic initiative to promote research and development in the Electric Mobility sector in India by fostering an ecosystem that enables self-reliance and global competitiveness. As part of the implementation of the MAHA-EV Mission, multiple E-Nodes working across three technology verticals have been selected. The E-Nodes, comprising 30+ R&D institutions and 40+ industries across the country, are responsible for conducting priority-driven, solution-focused, multidisciplinary research to develop indigenous capabilities for long-term sustainability and end-to-end value creation across the EV value chain.

The Pune Knowledge Cluster Foundation (PKC) serves as a technical Mission Program Management Unit (M-PMU) for the MAHA: EV-Mission. As an M-PMU, PKC will coordinate strategic planning and execution of the Mission Program, facilitate stakeholder convergence, and manage knowledge flow across academia, industry, and government. PKC’s experience in managing large-scale, complex, multi-institutional projects — including those focused on urban mobility, sustainability and public health- positions it strongly as a platform to drive and enable the realisation of the MAHA-EV Mission.
