While each of the focus areas involve extensive use of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI), this vertical also by itself is a source of new ideas and projects. The projects presently envisaged rely on collection of large data sets and their analysis using AI and Machine Learning, and involve a component of capacity building.

The program helps connect citizens to the frontiers of current scientific projects. In order to save computational resources, this platform can be used by scientists to get first- hand data analytics leveraging on enthusiastic smart citizens.
ConnecTree
We propose to build an AI-enabled interactive web based platform, for citizens and local government bodies for choosing, promoting, tracking and maintaining sapling plantations. Citizens can record observations of their saplings on the platform.
